Ask me anything about it. It’s a Limited model so it has Infinity Gold speakers and shit. Otherwise, it’s a really nice truck. I’m putting it on my truck list just because I like it and they seem solid.

Kinja'd!!!

Before I begin.....

1. It has rusted out rockers

2. The motor knocks like a biatch (May need motor mounts, oil level and such is good)

3. The engine sounds really nice besides the knocking

I just realized that I played 663 hours of COD MW3 since it came out in 2011. I could have had another Master’s or a PhD if I applied myself that diligently.

Saw 2002 GC in the description knew #1 and #2 were a given.

I actually got a hankering for some COD and went back and played MW3 online for about a month last fall. There were still enough people playing that TDM was viable and hackers were at a minimum. I played the crap out of that game (I think I had around 40,000 kills in multiplayer). After MW3 COD just got kind of boring to me and the futuristic stuff turned me off.

Good times, though.

I like how they feel truckish without feeling huge.

A friend has a 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 with 167,000 on it, which has actually been maintained quite well, and the whole thing is broken.

Fun to beat on, though.

I love domination, and I purchased all of the DLCs. If I leave them on, there are no players on Dom, only on TDM. If I turn them off, plenty of players on Dom, but almost always a waller. So, so lame. I simply don’t understand the point.

We had a 2002 with the 4.7. Loved it - my wife drove it without oil for 3 weeks and it still ran fine when we sold it (with a tick...). I hated the Infinity stereo because it’s tough to replace components. The oil cap is such a PITA to get off I usually left it 1/4 turn open.

Comfortable for trips though

From a two-time former Grand Cherokee owner: find one with Quadra-Drive 4wd (it has front and rear LSDs) and ideally the High Output version of the 4.7 which has 265 hp instead of 235. Both of those were standard on the ‘03-’04 Overland.

Also, the heated seats will most likely not work.

My family had. 2001 and it has the 4.7 as well. I loved that thing. The only problems it had were rocker rust, rear hatch handle broke on the inside of the door so could only be opened through a hidden hatch, my sister blew out all but 2 of the Infinity speakers by blasting the stereo, and finally a phantom low oil pressure light that didn’t really mean there was low oil pressure just a defective sensor on those jeeps.

The rocker rust is crazy, but everything else is good.

I haven’t checked, but yeah probably.

I’m not sure which one this is, but it’s got a transfer case. That’s of no help whatsoever, but ya know haa.

All the V8 ones have that. It’d say either Quadra-Trac II or Quadra-Drive. The transfer case is the same. The difference is Quadra-Trac II has regular open differentials in the front & rear axles, Quadra-Drive has LSDs.

My dad had a ‘99 Laredo 4.0L when I was in high school and I loved it for that exact reason. It was downright cool compared to the ‘95 Caravan it replaced too (yes, the shorter one).

It was a nice alternative to my ‘95 Maxima every once in a while when I felt the need to mix things up, and yet it was very easy to drive and park. It was a beast in the snow, too.
